When a type name is written to the open type dialog, results from shadow 
projects are also shown.

There is a clear one-time workaround that can be done by the user easily and it 
seems to do the same thing programmatically, I need to hack into another 
Eclipse plug-in.

The work-around is detailed in: CommonWorkarounds
