Performing "pending" search for an auto-scheduled receipt

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When a receipt is auto scheduled through the shipping module (via
return/exchange), the receipt will not show up in a search of pending
receipts in receiving module. However, if a receipt is scheduled in the
receiving module,the receipt will show when performing a search in
receiving module.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
