introduced handling of mouse wheel events for scrolling #377

Hi guys, this code change has been tested on my site. Mouse wheel events are handled OK. Sample gallery to see: http://vosmon.ru/photogallery/historical-photos-1910/ (just click on any image to call the gallery). I decided it's good to have this functionality in the repository.
