thnx for this, hoping to get it to work as I have bumped into an orbec astra :) As mentioned the link in your readme is broken, I think & hope this may the one you need to link to : https://www.orbbec.com/developers/openni-sdk/

nope... nothing named to replace Redist :(

curious to hear if the script is still working for you?

Do you still need it? I have backups. I will probably update this project somewhere in the coming months because of a project that requires the astras.

Hey Hai! As I am hosting a workplace for students; always still interested! Thnx for getting back to me :) In the meantime I've been using this https://forum.derivative.ca/t/nuitrack-skeleton-tracking-plugin-for-touchdesigner/352108 on a mac atm but shall put testing this link/sdk on my todo list, tnx!
