Currently, soccer-twos-env relies on mlagents v0.27.0, which serves as a wrapper for the Unity-based soccer-twos game. However, we have observed that mlagents is an unstable dependency that frequently causes conflicts and installation problems.
To address this issue, we plan to remove the mlagents dependency and replicate its logic in the soccer-twos-env repository. This approach would enable users to install and use the RL environment without the need for specific and outdated dependencies.
We welcome contributions from the open-source community to help us with this task. If you have experience with mlagents or other RL environments, your feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Our goal is to enhance the stability and usability of soccer-twos-env, and we believe that removing the mlagents dependency is a critical step towards achieving this objective.
Thank you for your support and contributions in advance.
