Turns arent's shown on UI #9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Nehack
2. Create a char

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Turns remain empty.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Nethack-cocoa 0.3.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.3

The basic fix is the same for issue 8 and 9: hardwire showexp and time.
