Add WMS Layer not working for GA WMS endpoint - but is working for others.

Reported by user:

I am trying to add a WMS service to the AoLA map client, but I get an error 
saying that it cannot parse the GetCapabilties document.  I do not have any 
problems adding this WMS into other web mapping clients.  Can you please 
interpret your system’s error message? (ie, what is the “required field” 
that is missing?)

Error adding server
Read data from service but unable to parse a GetCapabilities document from it
Error message from system:  
"Unable to parse a GetCapabilities document at 
'http://www.ga.gov.au/gis/services/earth_science/GA_Surface_Geology_of_Australia
/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS' (a required field was 
missing)"

- SP is using EPSG:900913 and it appears it is now also designated EPSG:3857.  
GA MapServer supports the more recent EPSG:3857.  
- Need to identify layers that appear on the WMS Server that are not supported 
in SP. e.g. not supporting EPSG:3857 or EPSG:900913.
- User added layers have metadata that can be included in the SP metadata 
information link.

Added EPSG:3857 to geoserver on dev and prod.

Cleaned up copy of SP is now using EPSG:3857.

Checks out nicely. Could I suggest that

be added as the THIRD example of the pop-up as there are a heap of very useful 
layers being made available through GA?
