Apple TV 4K 1st gen is not recognized #19

Hello

I installed the ATV Remote app v1.1.3 on my MacBook Pro Mid-2015, macOS Monterey 12.7.3 with no fuss, but my Apple TV 4K 1st gen tvOS 17.3 (21K646) is not showing in the dropdown and constant scanning for devices occurs. I have tried deleting ~/Library/Application Support/ATV Remote folder, but that action did not resolve an issue after starting the app again.

Both MacBook and Apple TV are on the same 5G WiFi network. I tried connecting Apple TV with an ethernet cable and also assigning a static IP address, but that is not working either.

What is interesting is that in the ATV Remote app dropdown, my Mac Mini (ethernet cable, static IP address) and Denon receiver (5G WiFi, static IP address) are visible.

Sorry, my mistake, I had AirPlay turned off on my Apple TV.
