Corrupt Save File #2

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I added 10 of each item in my inventory except for things such as "Item
314", "Item 315", etc.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- When I load my edited save file it says it's corrupted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- I am using the US version of FFT: War of the Lions

Please provide any additional information below.

It seems like you mistakenly copied FFTA.SYS to \PSP\SAVEDATA\ULUS10297FFT0000

Try deleting \PSP\SAVEDATA\ULUS10297FFT0000\FFTA.SYS and copying the file you
sent
me to \decryptedSaves\ULUS10297FFT0000

I think it's confusing that the filenames for encrypted and decrypted versions
are
the same, so I'll address that issue in a later release.
I will release a new version of the plugin that improves handling of weird
corner
cases like this.

Added Instructions and new functionality to kernel plugin and application. Try
the
new version of the plugin and the new "Open from Memory Stick" button in the
application.
