Hello, I notice that you have updated this repository for v9, will it still work in v8 for now and in the future?

@Beelzebub0 sure, you can just go get github.com/bsm/redislock@v0.7.2 to stick with v8. We will continue to apply fixes to the 0.7.x "branch", if are faults are found.
