Hello. Assault Suits Valken (World) (Switch) restarts immediately at the beginning of the first level.

No-Intro entry.

Does it work on real SNES/SFC hardware using an SD2SNES or similar?

It seems that the company that released this game (M2) purposefully adds some protection to its ROMs to prevent them from running on real hardware or unofficial emulators, so it is actually working as expected on bsnes, and you'd have to crack it to make it playable.
