You could get information about "HOW TO" from

1. http://www.swixml.org/ - original Swixml site (old but still valid)
2. http://swixml2.googlecode.com/svn/jnlp/swixml2.jnlp - Show case

Actually i've planned to write a tutorial and the new xml schema to helps 
developers ... but they are not ready yet
