reaper, midi gates are skipped when using an audio buffer higher than 1024 #34

i noticed in reaper (latest, win10) veeseevst tends to skip notes (or skip clicks via the clk1/2), or push them forward in time causing an occasional out of sync drift. unless the global audio buffer is set to 1024. then it seems to work okay. however i need to use a higher buffer than 1024 (flexASIO) to prevent glitches in this tablet. curious if anybody knows of a tweak within the plugin or the .json settings file that might fix this? or a setting inside reaper perhaps? or even a flexASIO tweak? i know veesee isn't being worked on anymore but would love to know if there is a possible fix or if this is just a bug that i need to learn to live with or work around :] tia!!
