If we end up with multiple versions of the presentation slides on FigShare, I like to provide a little information about what's different from one version to the next so a participant who may have downloaded an older version can decide whether its worth doing it again.
It seems like it shouldn't be too hard to implement something simple and generic using a _data file holding a sequence of version ids and brief informational strings.
