Incorporate DavidR's packaging module #55

This is primarily an issue for the presentation and where we can squeeze in new content on the agenda.

But the presentation also references David's new version of the hands-on code. I think that can be okay even if we don't switch the main hands-ons to the new approach. But this needs some thought.

As of 2023 ECP AM and ISS I think we can call this done!
