10 years ago More details for above. We should add a few Icons to designate a war memorial site, an important museum, a national park, other ?. But for the purposes of the demo I wanted to add a monument for Roberto Clemente. It would be located right next to PNC Park. on the map but anywhere close would suffice.
After my bonus find on my run. http://www.clementemuseum.com/ this is some of the info. we could include with the login. The color scheme should be different than the Vet biz & Vet friendly biz stuff. Bronze would work. Effectively, the checkin process is the same as checking into a business but the copy would make it feel different. Allowing SoS customers to checkin to monuments, parks, etc. is another way to engage customers and could be a fun, important part of future individual or group contests.

I've uploaded a couple of image files that could be used for an icon to represent a Pittsburgh historical monument. User should be able to see this on a map and checkin to the memorial or monument.

A bit silly but it's captures some of the potential for fun, trivia contests, and promotions. Anyone checking in could get a free sandwich or drink at SoS businesses in the vicinity. Perhaps a tiny mini icon on their profile (similar to badges military leaders earn for their uniform for each checkin?
