OPLI

Colubridae snakes. (Reptile database) There are some regularities in the name endings, which denote the type of ship:

Shuttles: ~~Xylophis~~, ~~Xenelaphis~~, ~~Simophis~~, ~~Bogertophis~~, etc.
Passenger transports: Lyodites, Spilotes, Imantodes, Hydrodynastes, Radinophanes
Cargo freighters: Nerodia, Fowlea, Haldea, Storeria, Aspidura, etc.
Couriers - Natrix (heavy), Sinonatrix, Afronatrix (light)
Combat: Atractus, Enullus, Oxyrophus, Drymobius, etc.
Explorers: Atretium, Amastridium (not sure yet)

Fish names (will elaborate)

Mandarava-Csepel

Indian place names with only "A"s for vowels (Malabar, Vatakara, Kanara, etc)
Hungarian place names with only "E"s for vowels (Csepel, Gesztes, etc) (will elaborate)

Haber

Unceremonius descriptive names (Lunar shuttle, Deep Space Miner. Will need more thought later on)

Auronox

Weather phenomenons, named winds and such. (Wave, Tide, Sirocco, Lodos, etc - will elaborate)
