The main idea is that it is a very small ship, right at the lower end of feasibility. It has a very tiny cargo hold (10m^3), an even smaller tank (4m^3), a couple of seats at the front and an S0 Docking collar (similar to the escape capsule) and an S0 main engine (or a bunch of larger RCS thrusters for main engine).
The ship is a shuttle, meant for short trips, so it lacks amenities and creature comforts. It is simply and cheaply made, so upkeep is low, maintenance is pretty easy and cheap. On the other hand, it has a very humble performance both in terms of acceleration and deltaV, even though it is a very light ship.
The adventurous can turn it into an interstellar ship, and due to its light frame, it can have a very decent jump range. But the Hyperdrive will take most of the internal space, leaving very little room for supplies or to trade with. Not to mention the lack of amenities for long travel times.
This is considered to be outside the manufacturer operation limits, and thus it is not supported, or even encouraged.
The main visual inspiration for it comes from '80s Japanese vans.
