GPLv3 cannot be used with Zimbra #2

Your license is invalid for use with Zimbra. Deploying your zimlet would be a license violation. As noted at https://files.zimbra.com/website/docs/Zimbra-Open-Source-Edition-License.pdf, Zimlets must be licensed via the CPAL to be compliant.

I am not a lawyer but would not only the license be violated if someone tried to release/publish a version of Zimbra which included a GPLv3 zimlet?

As far as I understand, deploying the zimlet on your own private server without releasing/publishing the whole software stack would not be a license violation.

I understand that you prefer the zimlets not to be GPLv3 so that you can opt to integrate them directly into ZCS bundles in the future though.

Am I missing something ? Thank you.
