Seems that recent updates broke something

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to server with incompatible version (harddrop.com) or server that is 
not listening
2. Notice in Eclipse console window that some exceptions keep flowing
3. Exit from netplay

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You should be back in main menu but game will freeze.
