Design call N°16 notes:

Dennis is currently waiting for a number of PR's to be reviewed and merged before actively working on new efforts.

Was discussed the refactoring of the theme switch to be client side.

For light/dark, the server admin defines the default, and individual users can override for their own profil.
For custom themes, the light/dark option becomes disabled and all users use the custom theme imported by the server admin

PR currently waiting to be tested on testing instance before merge.

Discussing the new VS legacy API transaction statuses

These will have a minimal impact on UX, potentially only on the confirmed status that is changed to settled
Will impact documentation and we should also think of how it will be presented in the release blog post

Invoice troubleshooting Can be something we focus on in one of the next releases.

For example the refund view: Dstrukt will start working on this effort.

Customer facing checkout invoice

We can start thinking of what we want to achieve in a cleaned-up version of the checkout invoice
- Customer impact
- Merchant impact
The goal is to clean-up what information is already presented, and address a number of issues to help users get where they should be going.

On problem we have is they can switch currencies in the tab

Important to adresse how to make that switch prominent
- Design it so that it's obvious that they can pay with multiple different coins

Also idea of adding additional COPY for example "Scan and Pay", or some FAQ items like "Don't pay from an exchange", etc ...

Also information hierarchy problem. Information you need to pay the invoice is spread all over the place.

Course of action:

Discussed having a backend dev focused meeting again. Dennis would appreciate having regular meetings with Kukks, Nicolas and Rockstar.

In the coming days/week, Dennis will focus on the bug fixes while his other PR's are waiting for review.
