Dev Call 9 Notes:

NBX changes and Dashboard

• UI For dashboard if finished, waiting for @NicolasDorier to finish NBX refactoring so we can start to insert dynamic data.
• @NicolasDorier has been working on postgresql support for NBXplorer for the past month. We could be able to query things directly. It gives a table based on called interval. Plan is to allow people to query data on database directly. We'll have additional connection where we can pass these, so we don't have to do it via NBX.
• @Kukks we should add support to query nbx client. (abstracting it). @NicolasDorier btcpay already depends on the database so it may be too much.
• Anybody using MYSQL or SQLlite would need a message, in 2-3 we discontinue support maybe.
• @Kukks : Show progress when user migrates? @NicolasDorier: Shows in the logs. We need to show a pop up to make users aware.
• To integrate the new NBX in dashboard we need to query data in NBX directly.
• Nicolas considers making a new NBX, completely breaking the API.
• @dennisreimann For graph tile we need new NBX functionality.
• @NicolasDorier @dennisreimann You can call this function
• During the update we won't nuke the old database

Transfer processors

• @Kukks Transfer processors are taking the system of payouts and added a scheduling system into it. You can have payouts without pull payment. In wallet page you have schedule button, creating payout for all these transactions. Creates 1:1 rate in wallet. There's a new entity called Transfer processors configuration thing for a store. You register a transfer processor you can activate it.
• For 1.5.0 (automated transfer processors, one for lightning, one for on-chain).
• Button in wallet send doesn't show when a processor is off.
• In 1.6.0 adds payment batching with PayJoin

API For exchanges

• Needs review https://github.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver/pull/3232
• Kukks refactored #3232 as a plugin (Kraken part as a plugin). Kukks has tested it, but it's tricky to do.
• Exchanges integrations should be plugins, testability was a concern.
• You can write tests for plugins @dennisreimann
• All of this except the Kraken code should be in the main project
• Kukks wants to add extension for documentation
• Not possible for non custodial, decentralized exchanges.

• Woocommerce V1.2, we can implement refunds and new features @ndeet. Needs better documentation
• Joomla integration for Virtumart is in progress @ndeet
• OpenCart integration is next @ndeet
• Shopify broken we need to test it @Kukks
• Consider doing a bug fix release for LNBank
• CirceCI builds are exiting, CirceCI has 2 way of running actions, creating container or VM. If that's the case @NicolasDorier has some ideas on how we can address this.
