Travis CI no longer supporting #148

Describe the bug Travis CI is no longer supporting free builds for open-source repos, which breaks CI-based branch protections

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click on the Travis badge in the repo readme
  2. Go into an open PR and see broken build status

Expected behavior CI builds new branches and connects correctly to branch protections
