What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download latest i386 linux package on Ubuntu 8.04.3
2. Extract package as root
3. Execute install.sh as root
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Installation guide says it should output:
Program files successfully copied.
Google Sitemap Generator settings successfully updated.
Google Sitemap Generator init scripts successfully installed.
Apache configuration successfully updated.
Old configuration is saved at /etc/google-sitemap-
generator/httpd.install.conf
Ready to set the password for the administration console.
Enter new password (5 or more characters):
I get:
Program files successfully copied.
sitemap-install/install.sh 728: /INSTALLDIR/bin/sitemap-daemon: not found
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest i386 package, Ubuntu 8.04.3
Please provide any additional information below.
If I navigate to the INSTALLDIR/bin directory, I can see the file 'sitemap-
daemon', and open it in vim (though it doesn't look like anything), but any
time I try to execute it it says "No such file or directory"
One other thing that may be an issue is it tells me my Apache architecture
is 64 bits, though I don't think it really is.
