Remove New Ad Banner Appearing Below Video #649

When viewing a stream, today I started seeing a new ad banner just below the video, see screenshot Screenshot_20231212_100546_BTTV

Describe the solution you'd like

A total of the ad banner element in the BTTV app.

App version: 0.40.4-beta

This mod has a no adblock policy. Given that they seem to start appearing now, even on an old version like the mod is based on, you might want to try your luck by tweaking the experiments you are enrolled in. You can do that from the developer menu. You can enable the developer menu in the bttv settings.

Huh, I thought it blocked ads from the streams. I always get pre-roll ads whenever I visit any streamers that I don't sub to on the normal app but I never get them on this app. Is that just a byproduct and not an intentional behavior of BTTV?

Edit: Do you have any documentation of what all the experiments do, what "reality bucket" means, and what the options entail, e.g. "reality!!", "control", "active_17.5", "active_17.6" etc? I didn't see any in issues or github wiki. Are these unique to this app, BTTV, or some other platform? I was unable to find any results that matched any of the experiment names, so I haven't been able to figure out what these experiments do or how to configure them, as you suggest.
