cropping a sample while playing crashes ptk #67

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. play a module.
2. select a range on a sample and cut it.
3. see ptk crash.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected it wouldn't crash!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ptk v2.5.4 on Windows Vista

Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe pressing CUT should stop the sequencer before acting on sample data.

I've come across this as well.. can't remember if on xp or 7 though... I think
