Duplicated Spawners with Silk Touch #1

When you break a spawner that you find out in the world, it causes it to duplicate when dropped.

Spec info: Playing on Steam Deck Launched with ATLauncher Running Minecraft 1.20.4 Fabric version: 0.15.6 ~16 gb ram

Steps for Replication: 1: Install Compact Spawners + Dependencies (the mods required for it to work) 2: Launch Minecraft 3: Create new world (for faster testing, I recommend a Creative world with cheats enabled) 4: Use "/locate structure stronghold" to locate a stronghold 5: Teleport to stronghold using "/tp @p" followed by the coordinates for the stronghold 6: Find the portal room 7: Open chat and type "/give @p netherite_pickaxe" 8: Make sure the pickaxe is in your hand and type into chat: "/enchant @p silk_touch" 9: Mine the "Silverfish Spawner" with the pickaxe 10: Profit (you get two spawners instead of one)

Extra/Notes: I may add a recording/pictures later, the Steam Deck is going dead (plus I need to work on Java programming).

Hi, Thanks for your report. I tried to replicate your error, but i couldn't experience the same as you noted. In my case only one spawner dropped.

When you put another spawner into the vanilla-generated spawner you automatically receive two spawners after mining it.

Could you also send me the log of your session when this error occurs?

i will try it again on a different instance later

i tried it again and can't replicate the behaviour at all. maybe (a very big maybe) it has something to do with the stream deck, which i couldn't test. can you please try this again with a new world to prevent that this error occured by clicking the spawner with another spawner?

Sure! /g (also, it wouldn't surprise me if Java on Steam Deck has bugs due to it using mods to make it work).
