[Bug] Pressing Home button and entering Sleep Mode locks 3DS - Reboot Required #79

Pressing the Home button and entering Sleep Mode completely locks up the 3DS on system resume

The only way to recover from this is a hard reset.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch SNES9x
  2. Select a ROM and launch it
  3. Anytime during gameplay, press the Home button
  4. Close the 3DS
  5. Open the 3DS

Results

3DS displays a black screen, and is completely unresponsive. The only way to resume control of the system is to do a hard reset by holding down the power button for a while until the system shuts down and can be rebooted.

Hardware: n3DS XL Software: SNES9x v1.30

Might be a duplicate of #20, in which case this is a ctrulib issue. I haven't tested it though.

I'm also able to reproduce this problem consistently on an old 2DS (non-XL). You don't even have to launch a ROM. Just going home from the snes9x menu and then flipping the sleep switch on the 2DS will lock it. It will not wake up from sleep and a reboot is required.
