Missing overlay on client application

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. svn checkout and build client on netbeans 7.0

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: Waypoints to be displayed on the globe, boat graphic drawn on globe 
showing real time movement

Observed: Nothing drawn on the overlay. However status messages do show change 
in boat GPS coordinates

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest checkout (Revision 50)
Mac OS X 10.6.7 Intel 32 Bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Apparently, this is related to a known issue in WorldWind concerning OpenGL 
window resizing:

I am going to try to implement a workaround.
