HTC EVO 3D unable to connect to Arduino via Bluetooth #62

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Power on generation 5 or 6 airboat (the last one before the new rudder 
design). Wait for it to beep to signal all systems nominal
2. Attempt to scan for bluetooth devices on an HTC EVO 3D smartphone.

PROBLEM:
The arduino (+bt module) is undetectable by the HTC EVO 3D phone even though it 
detects other devices (e.g. other phones and laptops). Other devices can detect 
the HTC phone (when its set to discoverable).

In summary, no bluetooth connection was possible between the HTC phone and the 
arduino.
