Some Vita .ZIPs were recovered from the web and they're built with too many nested folders, so you might need to adjust or move folders with VitaShell once they're extracted.
Always back up your save-data before overwriting stuff
Basic procedure to use saves from Online DB:
go to Settings, and select the right external source you want to use. For example, uma0
Open the online db, pick your game and save, and download it. Be sure to select the same storage that you selected under "Settings". So in this example, download to uma0
Now, go to the "EXT Saves" menu. If the save is not listed/detected there, then you'll need to close the app, and open VitaShell to check the folder structure. (See notes below)
If the save is detected under Ext saves, then open it, and select the option to "Copy save to internal storage". (you might need to resign it if account-ids are different)
That's all, the save from online DB was downloaded, and copied to your local save-game data.
Note:
If the save didn't show up in the "Ext saves" list, then go to VitaShell, then open uma0:/data/savegames
, the save-game folder should be there. If you see something like SLOT0, SLOT1, you need to move the content inside those SLOTx folders to the /data/savegames/
folder. For example:
if you find /data/savegames/SLOT0/PCSB12345_Save
, move it so the save folder is /data/savegames/PCSB12345_Save
.
Then go back to Apollo, open "Ext saves", the save should be showing up on the list now.
Vita ZIP saves folders should have been fixed in https://github.com/bucanero/apollo-saves/commit/fce5d92ed4f60225572c3427d319d7374fbcdd55
Just downloaded saves for FFX HD (US) with Apollo Save Tool, but I dunno how to install them... anyone knows how?
