PDF size increases with multiple orders of magnitute (ex from 182K to 20,7Mb) #9

I attach sample of original file and converted result. The size increase makes the result quite unwieldy, and it doesn't seem easy to compress it. (On local networks with attached printers etc, having some huge temporary files is probably no issue, but when mailing the result to print shops in Asia it becomes an issue. And this sample only has 72 original pages).

Whether this is unavoidable or not, I don't know.

That's an interesting side effect:

I think the primary target was PDF with images, but this use case could probably be handled better... perhaps some options in the writing of the PDFs?

Thanks! I was just writing a clarification of that, but you beat me to it. :D I can see that with the original intent being to print scanned files, it would be a non-issue. But it would be great with a switch/option for text encoded PDFs.
