He is asking for simple linear distance, which maybe an ok approximation in a lot of cases
Have you seen this information in keyframe editor? There is displayed distance of camera from selected keyframe.
i think he is asking for distance between main_camera positions ie distance camera has travelled from previous keyframe camera position
This is exactly it.
lol, i see now
i think??? he wants access to those values for the whole animation, so he can import to spreadsheet

i remember now, way back when i used to keyframe animate, i would look at the main_camera coordinates and mentaly approximate the distance between each and make some adjustments to try and get it to flow better, sometimes i also did iit in a spreadsheet. So it would have been helpful for me if the values were in the keyframe table

Where was original post? On FB?
it was on FB, facebook search is crap, but i found it. It is in your post on "Do you know https://coolors.co https://coolors.co/?fbclid=IwAR3j52vFvyA2ir_wES6k3acJMm5yuPEQ1vgRvaXn4XkesMPiOkPkRBXqdzg web page?" He has since added to it Carbuncle Grim https://www.facebook.com/groups/851813331543501/user/100023147130961/?__cft__[0]=AZXm2RtfgR89P1Jsn82LG_SNCjDUHXJmdppzSy1zAnCJ-6eNKLYfYE9JvedpDICiZllRbzibqYeEEXYFX0CpHiUrV8ijV5B_Cw6GDMVuOor7XRA2knOopXDHEnu2XvbIDYrVgVZFB_wC6X_JiMqF54mL&__tn__=R]-R Ooops, thank you! I feel a bit dumb now! I missed that totally ...however a read out under each keyframe of distance, to or from next, would prove handy, a good clear overview without lots of clicking. Like I currently have a 10 keyframe flight in my latest fractal and want to get the overall pace even, so that is going to be loads of clicking back and forth, and remembering figures, with current set up. However this development idea seems a lot less relevant after pointing me to the distance button! [image: 😄]

I've worked out what I see as easiest way to do it: by exporting settings to excel, deleting all but keyframe data, and then use 'Text to column's function 'delimited by semicolons'. Then the x,y & z co-ord are in seperate colomns and I can apply a formula to get the distance ...but it's a bit of a faff as need to keep redoing it to check. As it's just a basic maths function between 2 x,y,z co-ords could it be a figure shown in the keyframe data?
