Needs a definitive answer from @imaginator but but as far as I know buddycloud.com is running off github github pages and therefore does not have ssl/https (although does listen listen on it for legacy reasons).
If there's links in the source code code to https then this needs to be fixed.
buddycloud.com is hosted on github. Github doesn't run SSL enabled for their Pages product, so trying to go to https://buddycloud.com will take you to a github page.
Is their a Man-in-the-middle-attack going on? Or is just because you are using a github.com certificate?
