This has now been fixed in the latest versions of chrome and safari. Verified and tested on iOS and Android for uploading to activity and personal galleries in BuddyPress

Thank you. Appreciate it. We do not use pluploader anymore in our dev repo(and this setting has no effect if you downloaded plugin from github) and we are using Dropzone js instead. Can you please test if the new uploader experience has the same issue?
