Show how to extend the activity post form: a "poll" feature ? #64

I'm looking for an easy way to show how to extend the activity post form. What do you think of using the textarea for the question and a specific new control for answers and the duration of the poll? I think this could be easily done with an activity post meta..

Is this something interesting ?

Do you have other/better ideas ?

Can you work through the idea a little?

This creates polls on site? A question along with option checkboxes? Uses the existing activity comments form to create them?

I quite like the idea of being able to use the activity comment form in an extended supercharged manner for things other than simply comments on stream entries.

I forgot about it. No i wasn't thinking about it this way. I was thinking the content of the activity is the question, and i use a huge activity meta to store possible choices with user_ids when they select their choices.

Maybe it's a new king of activity that shouldn't support comments. Is it weird to add comments to a "QCM" (multiple choice) question ?
