Is the updated mediaplayer and youtube annotation plug ins available for use

@arunnbabu81 I had to make a new widget for the youtube annotations - I will update the demo as soon as I find some time

@buggyj eager to use the new version of the plug in? Will it be compatible with the old version. Can I make notes with the old one?

@arunnbabu81 I am current experimenting with the templates to see what works best. The new plugin should still play annotations created with the older version.

Were you able to work on the plug in. Just take this as an enquiry. No need to hurry the release.

@buggyj I tried to use the these three plug ins from the site https://mediaplayerava.tiddlyhost.com/

Now there is some issues with the display of annotation UI buttons and annotation text - I have attached the screenshots.

  1. With mediaplayer 2.0.4 - annotations are seen in edit and view modes

  1. With mediaplayer and mediaplayerAVA 2.0.5 - annotations are seen fully in edit mode only. In view mode, annotation of only one selected slice (selected from the mediaplayer UI) is seen in the video tiddler. No annotations are seen in the mediaplayer UI. Also the timestamps and edited title of the slices are not seen in the mediaplayer UI and no title seen in the video tiddler UI. Also the annotation buttons are not seen in the mediaplayer UI.

Is there an updated version of mediaplayer available ?

I have rewritten the templates but they are not yet available for release

I think it's time for the public release of the mediaplayer plug in now that it's stable. Don't you also think so ?

I need to see if I can remove the dependency on the $:/plugins/bj/drag-and-drop plugin.

Also good demonstrations wikis need to be constructed.

@buggyj Someone was asking for a youtube annotation plug-in in talk tiddlywiki forum. Shall I share the link of this mediaplayer plug in ?

It is not quite the same thing as the mediaplayer. It sound to me as if they want some links to click to position the time of the player from within wikitext. mediaplayer would need a slight addition to do this.
