The tech note references cookie.png but it's either missing from the assets directory or being incorrectly addressed — so the cookie graphics are 404ing
Solution is to drop cookie into place (here's what it's supposed to be (it's the Beholder one but with a transparent background because if fake LaTeX is engaged it might be on a white background))
