Figure 13 in this pdf has the circuit we want. We would need to figure out the correct values for Rs
, C1
& C2
. Note, Rtest
is not needed. OSC1
should be our 5Vm
, the referenced PDF says this must be a low-impedance input. OSC2
is the output to the 4 channel clock buffer. Also see this wikipedia page.
I recommend double checking all of this. We might also want to breadboard this and test it first.
I have decided to leave this as is. We can discuss it in tomorrow's meeting.

b. It would be much cheaper to use a ABLS-16.000MHZ-B4-T in a Pierce oscillator configuration instead of the more expensive CB3LV-3I-16M0000. Saves ~$1.
