Allow User to Select the Skills They Want to Connect With #67

Context

Similar to the mobile app, by allowing users to select skills they are proficient at and ones they want to connect over it can facilitate team discovery for new projects.

User Stories

-As a user, I want to select the skills I am proficient at -As a user, I want to select the skills that I am looking to learn from

Requirements

TBD to have predefined list of skills or free-entry database

Must append these skills to User database

Hey Angelo, where do the choices for skill selection come from, is that fixed at development time with curated list provide by the product team, or is is going to be dynamic and stored in the database, updated either by the user or the product owner?

@rollymaduk this is something we should discuss. I have the raw file of the presets we use in the mobile app and then anything that fits outside this list gets added to the database and surfaced for future users. However perhaps it is simpler at this stage to just have preset skills or allow users to + add skills which go directly to their profile outside of the short standard list we have in the current designs (same skills borrowed from DeWork)
