What format is appropriate? Vector images? CAD files? JSON descriptions?

The highest priority have PDF files like Sunovation_assembly_d03.pdf. They are convenient for humans because you can copy and paste the UUID of the components easily.

CAD files could be an option for the future, either in databases of the manufacturers or in the metabase.

For automated use, we have "assembledOf" and "partOf" in graphql. Or did you think about another form of JSON descriptions?
