No clear class or predefined type for gap fillers like sealant, backing rods, and packers

Maybe IfcDiscreteAccessory? Again, this occurs in detailing of every single building, so it would be good to know how to classify it and add it as a predefined type, perhaps called "FILLER"?

agree with IfcDiscreteAccessory - also check current list of predefined types coming out of INFRA/RAIL, some of their proposed additions are in like, like:

• EXPANSION_JOINT_DEVICE
• RAIL_LUBRICATION
• ELASTIC_CUSHION

Cheers, in that case my proposal is to add a new predefined type called "FILLER" with the description of "Sealant, gap filler rod, packing material or other used to close a gap".
