LaTeX Tikz-UML produces png images #4

When browsing online the full UML graphical representation of class diagrams, png images prevent from using "Ctrl-F", in the browser. This makes the diagrams very difficult (almost impossible) to explore.

True and this is also an issue with the illustrations in the current IFC documentation. For example Google is unable to index because there is no description of the content. They are PNGs now mostly for the sake of the browser being able to quickly display them so that we can skim through them and discuss about style. Ultimately they will probably be interactive SVGs where the class labels can be clicked to get to the corresponding entities.

Hi Leon @berlotti and Thomas @aothms, hope this helps https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/gallery.html

I think the preferred tool should have "folding/unfolding" and "in-zoom/out-zoom" features

In STEP group it seems that they dropped EXPRESS because of its limitations, and used UML, so UML still had limitations, so finally chose SysML, this is why STEP AP242 developed (maybe help you think about SysML too)
