We started using skip in our (dynamic) pipelines to skip over work that is not needed. However, we have gotten some feedback from developers that were confused certain steps were "gone" from their pipeline.
It is possible to make these steps reappear by clicking on the "eye" button, but it's kind of hidden and not super obvious. Fo our use cases, it would be better if skipped steps are still shown as part of the pipeline, so our team knows we skipped the step for good reason and didn't "forget" about it.
