screw connectors are not of correct size #2850

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.in search write "screw connector"
2.select header 2 header 3 and header 4
Inspector says "standard n pin 0.1 header ..."

Attach your sketch file and/or custom part files to the bug report.
- see attached file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- They seem to be normal commercial screw connectors as expected
but
1. in PCB the holes are not in normal 0.2 inch from each other as in commercial
components. (they are smaller 0.15 inch) so I can not install my connecters to
my breadboard.
2. In schematic they are not in correct size They are too small compared to the
grid.
3. From breadboard they seem to be normal but when looking carefully they
really are smaller than the every second hole (0.2 inch).

What version of Fritzing are you using? On what operating system?
Version 0.8.5 (b8b2c 2013-12-16) [Qt 4.8.5]
in Linux

Please provide any additional information below.
 - I do not know if Sparkfun has its own pin header of this size. but i could not find.

Thank You

The schematic grid size issue is known--we are working on it--issue #2592. In
general, pin spacing does not apply to parts in breadboard view--this is also
discussed elsewhere.

You might want to use the core screw terminal parts (or maybe pin headers)
which have multiple pin spacing options. Try searching for "screw terminal".

The only action item I can see here presently is that the part description
should be changed.

Thank you for the quick answer.

The screw terminal search helped. I found components I think are same that
I have .

I propose
either
you connect all screw terminals ans screw connectors under same name so
when searching one notice that there are several slightly different screw
connectors
or
you do one component so that pin spacing and amount of pins can be selected.
or of course
if those different components are well known with those different names
then best way is to change the description and add hint to check also the
other named parts.

Thank you very much
