Re-downloaded Fritzing 0.8.7b and opened the sketch again. Now I can't drag
anything in to it.

I also started a new sketch, and everything works flawlessly. No clue what
happened to the first one.

Confirmed, but hard to debug.. Do you remember what happened shortly before? I
noticed there are no parts showing up in the sketch. Was it completely composed
of custom parts, or did it also have parts from the core library?

It had saved the sketch an hour earlier and closed Fritzing, but when I came
back and loaded it, thats when I saw the buttons were gone and adding them
crashed. The only custom part was the PCB shape. Everything else was from Core.
I re-started the sketch in a new file and haven't had a problem since, so I
don't know what it could be.

Thanks, well then let's blame it on the gods of bad luck for now. But let us
know if it happens again.
