write a "how to" for routing and designing pcbs #543

I want to write a direction set for using the hand routing tools that we
currently have available to the user's best advantage.

Of course this will change over time, as the tools change, but would be
good to have some directions.

Omer is now in the system!

he's has started this tutorial at
http://fritzing.org/learning/tutorials/designing-pcb/
and is going to make some changes i suggested.

Here was my feedback:
1) can you label the pictures? or perhaps space them better in the text. For
example,
under the PCB view heading, there's a bunch of texts and then two pictures that
follow, but it isn't so clear what the pictures are about.

2) Maybe you can add another page about what's in the different layers that can
be
linked to from the Designing a PCB text

3) regarding " Arranging parts on the board" section, can you include the tips
that
Brendan gave you? Also mention the USB connector outline on the Arduino
Shield.
It's there so people are aware that the metal there could short a circuit.

4) in the "Auto-routing" heading, can you be more explicit about what the
following
functions:
a) exclude from auto route
b) skip a trace

and when you say "You might want to tell Fritzing to exclude some connections
from
autorouting" - can you explain more why you would want to do this?

5) The Hand-routing sections needs way more content and needs to be clarified.
How
about drawing traces by hand?
