Repo is empty - Frodo OSX #206

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install repo from zip on Frodo stable (OS x lion)
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Repo shows up, able to install add ons. Instead only the repo shows up, but is
empty.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Lastest, downloaded 2/3/13. Using Frodo stable on OSX lion.

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm not getting any errors, it installs - it's just empty. I don't see
anything in my log. I've removed the repo, rebooted, downloaded and installed
a new copy but it has the same problem. Tested Confluence and Refocus Big skin.

I can confirm that I am having the same issue though I am not using OS X lion.
I did a fresh install of Frodo on Ubuntu 12.10 and then installed the blue cop
repo. When I open it, its empty. I have removed reinstalled, reinstalled frodo,
reinstalled Ubuntu to no avail.

I have this same problem on my Raspberry Pi. This seems like an XBMC issue -
deleting the Addons15.db and restarting XBMC fixed the problem for me.

I solved this my continuing to right click and force refresh. Eventually it
updated.

Relatively new to XMBC. Running it on OS X 10.6.8 and can confirm this
behavior. I don't seem to have an Addons15.db file to rename/delete. Force
refresh hasn't done anything so far.

...and of course 3 minutes after I posted my comment, it works now. :-/

It took a while. I uninstalled the repo via XBMC's addon manager. Check to
make sure it was removed, if not delete the folder. Then I deleted the zip and
redownloaded the zip. Install it and force refresh. I even had a couple
reboots in there. It finally updated.
