Featured Post Option #282

Been seeing this more and more on popular wordpress themes. Would be nice to 
have an addition to the admin area where you could set a post as a "featured 
post" and if applicable assign a small "preview image" to it. These posts could 
be then singled out site side in another control of it's own depending how the 
skin is designed.
