Those templates are copied form another project and adjusted a bit. They tend to be useful there and confronting the user with 5 choices is acceptable according to neuroscience. Tho you are welcome to build or modify templates and have them specifically made for this repo.
I fully agree on disableing issues on the https://github.com/bundestag/gesetze repo, but first we have to push an automatic update there. Once we can do that I am fine to disable the issue section and close all remaining PRs and Issues
Personally, I think this are way too many options which just confuse users. Especially since we don't do automatic issue parsing by bots to assign labels etc, I don't see the benefits for this granularity.
I would prefer to just provide bug report and feature request templates. Maybe, as a special case for this repository output formatting issue in case the markdown is formatted not optimally...
Furthermore, I was thinking, if we should disable issues in bundestag/gesetze and add a prominent node to the
README.md
to file issues in this repository. This way, all issues are bundled where they are actually created.
